Universal Lending adds well-known local mortgage expert to senior team
DENVER – Universal Lending Corporation, one of Colorado’s largest mortgage banks, has hired Cathy Stroud as its new Vice President of Business Development. A well-known leader in the local mortgage business, Cathy recently served as the regional executive vice president of CTX Mortgage Company.
“Cathy’s tremendous knowledge and experience building strong sales teams in the local mortgage industry will be a great addition to our senior management at Universal Lending,” said Pete Lansing, president. “We’re seeing record volume right now from consumers who want to take advantage of today’s low interest rates and federal tax incentives. Since January 2009, Universal Lending Corporation has seen some of the busiest months in its 29 years of doing business in metro Denver.
Stroud will head up sales and recruiting at Universal Lending Corporation, focusing on providing outstanding customer service and meeting corporate objectives. She will also use her expertise in organizational management and strategy development to help achieve the highest operational excellence for the company.
